MINISTRY TEAMS

ADULT MINISTRY TEAMS

ADULT EDUCATION

“You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
— Deuteronomy 6:7-8

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17

OUR VISION: To establish teaching courses and subjects that will make ELMchurch attendees as knowledgeable about biblical teaching as possible; that as adults they might be able to apply its principles to their daily life in a culture that is distorting biblical truth and faith, and to enable them to have a meaningful and deeper fellowship with the Lord and each other.

OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE:

OUR SECONDARY PURPOSE:
Fellowship:
For people to gather in order to influence each other’s growth in Christ.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

“Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”
— Titus 2:3-5

OUR VISION: To emphasize women ministering to women to build relationships, promote spiritual growth, and reach out to unbelieving women with love and acceptance to lead them to Christ as God enables.

 PARTNERSHIP MINISTRY TEAMS

MMABATHO PARTNERSHIP

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for our sakes he became poor so that you through his poverty might become rich. At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
