Women's Close Connections
This winter, we offer women both an evening or a morning group book study entitled "Pursuing God's Beauty". Evening Edition meets next on Feb. 7 at 7:00 pm. Morning Break meets Feb. 8 at 9:15 am. Cost of the book is $10. Print out a bookmark for the weekly lesson assignments by locating it under "Forms/Info".

Motherwise: Meeting Tues. Feb. 28 at 7 pm
Motherwise: Moms Discovering Wisdom Together to offer guidance to their teenager. Motherwise will meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month from 7:00 - 8:30 PM. Our next meeting is February 28 (we are skipping Feb. 14 for Valentines Day). Join other moms to discuss the authors surprising findings, and learn ways that you can give your teen guidance in a way they will receive it. TO REGISTER: Call the church office. Join us any week!

Make hats and kimonos for babies!
Women, we are making knitted or crocheted hats and sewn kimonos for missionary Diane Eliason, in Cote d'Ivoire to distribute at the hospital where she works. You can also help out by donating flannel for the kimonos, trim for kimono ties (bias tape, ribbon, etc.) or yarn. See the display in the foyer for more information.

The Truth Project starts Thursdays in January
Starting on January 5, ELMchurch is offering The Truth Project. This 13 week course, created by Focus on the Family and featuring a DVD session/discussion format, will encourage you by asking, "Do you really believe that what you belive is really real?" Two sessions will be held each Thursday: 10am-12pm or, 7pm-9pm. Sign up by calling the church office. There is no cost, and the series concludes March 29. See you there! Men's Common Journey resumes: Forgotten God
Join us Monday nights weekly starting January 9 at 7:00 pm for out new book study "Forgotten God" by Francis Chan, as we pursue a Spirit-filled life of effectiveness both God and we desire. We will spend two weeks on most of the chapters and you can print either a lesson schedule summary or bookmark by clicking on Forms/Info above.
